Barbara Bush hopes Sarah Palin will stay in Alaska

Former first lady Barbara Bush says she thinks that former Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin is "beautiful," but she says she hopes the former Alaska governor will "stay there."
The latest example of the former first lady's trademark bluntness came in an interview with CNN's Larry King scheduled to air Monday evening.

Sarah Palin addresses a Susan B. Anthony List event.
During the interview, Barbara and George H.W. Bush discussed issues including the Tea Party, their son's newly published memoir and Palin's nascent flirtation with a 2012 presidential candidacy.
"I sat next to her once," Barbara Bush told King. "Thought she was beautiful.
"And she's very happy in Alaska. And I hope she'll stay there."
Mrs. Bush called her son's book "very frank." George H.W. Bush said it was written "from the heart."
